Lake Cootharaba
Lake Cootharaba is about 10 kms long and 5 kms wide with an average depth of about 1.5 metres and is part of the Noosa River system and the Great Sandy Region.
Heading North the Noosa River extends from it's beginnings in the Cooloola catchment via the beautiful Cooloola Wetlands. Tourists should check out the Noosa River and Lake Cootharaba. uth the river winds down to Lake Cooroibah and beyond, Tewantin, Noosaville and to the Noosa Bar at Noosa Heads.
